I sure appreciate being part of MMD.  I don't contribute much, as
I am just a collector who enjoys the music.  MMD has given my a lot
of knowledge I could not have learned elsewhere.

I hope the hobby is expanding because I have observed a real problem
in "roll" availability.  I heard a Play-Rite recut of G roll #467, all
marches.  It was played on a rare Seeburg FT, and was wonderful, but
I checked all the usual sources, and even got a disconnected number at
Play-Rite.

I also learned that Wurlitzer APP roll recuts for the CX are very hard
to come by, and are depressing the value of the instruments.  I also
have a Violano Virtuoso and for years could not find rolls.  Now, rolls
are plentiful and the value of the instruments have almost doubled.

Coincidental?
