Freedom for MMD Information
By Bob Fitterman

I'd like to comment on John Tuttle's quandary over re-publishing
information found elsewhere on the web.

The generally accepted practice is to create links to the original
source of information rather than copying the information. In John's
case, his compilation of the various sources may produce the best
"product," but if lack of permission is prohibiting him from doing
that, I suggest he use direct quotes where permission has been granted
and provide a brief synopsis of other people's comments along with a
link to the full text of the original posting in the MMD Archives.
That's the real beauty of hypertext.
