An article in MMD 980831 asked for the availability of plans for
barrel organs and hurdy gurdies.

I just received my Musicmaker's Kits, Inc. catalog in the mail today.
In it is a Hurdy Gurdy kit.  The specs say it has 4 strings, 12 keys
and is 28" long and 13" wide.  The complete kit cost is $399.95 or you
can buy the plans and blueprints for $29.95 or the hardware alone for
$34.50.

I have built several of their other kits in the past with excellent
