If Dean Randall has access to a vintage record shop, a version of
the song was performed by Dave Lambert on a 1964 album by Lambert,
Hendricks and Bavan: Havin' a Ball at the Village Gate. The numbers
were LPM-2891 and LSP-2891.
According to the liner notes, the song was sung by Rudy Vallee in
his first appearance at the London Palladium in 1935 and recorded
by Cyril Smith in the thirties.
