Introduction
By Ed Hayden

Hi, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Ed Hayden and I want
to say hello to all of MMD. I recently subscribed to MMD and also
rejoined AMICA. I was an AMICA member from 1966 through 1981 when I
dropped out to raise my family and concentrate on a new job. Now my
daughter is grown, retirement is next year and I have time to indulge
myself in this hobby again.

I have been reading the MMD archives and have realized how much I have
missed over the years. The thread about pouch materials and sealing is
timely, as the Artrio is showing signs of needing valve pouches. The
last rebuild was 30 years ago.

I have a 1919 Wilcox & White Artrio Angelus upright and a 1921 Weber
5'10" grand with a Duo-Art and transposing tracker bar. I'd like to
hear from all those Artrio owners lurking out there. My e-mail address
is ejh@ebmud.com

[ Hi Ed, and welcome to MMD. The discussion threads about leather
[ and cloth materials, and especially the different adhesives, keep
[ recurring because they are so critical. Please visit the MMD
[ Archives and use the KWIC (Key Word in Context) index to see what
 [ has transpired. -- Robbie
