Hi.  I am still doing research on Foster & Company pianos.  Several
interesting facts have turned up on this piano company, including a
"Foster postcard".

Foster had four different player piano cases (that I know of) and at
least two cases for the "plain pianos".  One of these "straight piano
cases" was actually a player case, but no player was ever installed.

Every piano company had a name or "model name" for the case design
they built.  To date, an original sales brochure has never surfaced.
It would be extremely helpful if one could be found, so that the proper
names for different cases could be identified.  A photocopy would be
just fine.  I would appreciate any information on existing literature
please.

I don't think there is enough demand for a book detailing this company,
but I have the information on this brand anyway, for historical
purposes and for anyone doing research on the American Piano Company.
