Hi,

In addition to Dan Wilson's comments about Laffargue players, they are
quite common here in Australia both under the Laffargue name and also a
few other names, being rebadged for certain music companies. Victor was
a common one,  for the large Australian music company Palings.

The two I have had (still have one) and all the others I have seen have
Amphion player actions in them, these have all been made in the 20's.

Many Laffargue's in Australia (like the one I still have) are Recordo's
and Themodist's, and unfortunately many I have seen are Ex- Recordo's
but parts are still around to put these back to how they should be (
Like the one Darrell Clarke has - your parts are here!)

The first Laffargue I had (1921) did have a Seaverns piano action in it.

I definitely agree with Dan that these are great sounding pianos,
particularly for Song, Dance and Marches.
