Boats, Pool Tables, & Player Pianos
By Deane Wiley

Amen to your comments! Addenda:

"There are a couple of those little hoses off, but I'm sure it
will work if they are replaced."

"The piano was put in this room in 1906, and I guess over the
years there was some remodeling done. Can't you take it apart
and get it through the door in sections?"

Proclaimed with great pride: "It used to be just an old black
piano, so we spray-painted it silver and then my wife sprayed
those gold stars over the silver with a decal I made for her."

I am sure each of us could add to your list ad nauseam!! The other
remarkable thing about your triplet title is that all three things
-- boats, pool tables and player pianos -- are generally purchased
only when _everything_ else on the "want list" has been taken care of!

[ Lou Berger, the great player piano marketer, called this the

[ Wurlitzer and Baldwin and Universal his marketing was aimed at
[ convincing the guy with spare "recreation money" to spend it on
[ the player piano instead of the pool table, etc. -- Robbie
