Gulbransen Air Motor Assembly
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, Robbie Rhodes comments in yesterday's Digest:

>[ The player techs might suggest substitute motors for you.

The Gulbransen air motor is quite unique and the only one I know of
that does not incorporate a ladder chain to connect it to the
transmission. This fact alone makes swapping motors overly complex.

Furthermore, the vacuum supply tube that connects to the motor
comes out the bottom and not the side, unlike the vast majority of
air motors.

Unfortunately, I do not have any Gulbransen parts listed in my small
but slowly growing Database of Used Player Piano Parts:

Musically,

John A. Tuttle
