58-note Roll Re-cutting Project
By Luke Schaedle

Oh my, ohmy, ohmy! =:-) The responses have been tremendous. What
I've surmised so far is:

1. The 65 note rolls won't work. They're too long.

2. The flanges on the spools, however, will work.

3. Someone who does nickelodeon rolls should be able to recut these
rolls because the perforator is similar.

4. There's a gentleman in England who _used_ to do this work, but
reports are skeptical. I have his boat mail address and will have to
contact him that way.

5. Finding the spools may be more of a task than finding someone to
cut the rolls.

6. People don't seem to care for the 58-note arrangements for various
reasons, but I do.

If these premises are wrong I'd appreciate any feedback.

Many, many thanks to the responses I've received so quickly. This
group is terrific.

I'm going to work on a 'photo essay' of the organ, and put together
a web page to answer some requests.

have a great day!
