Seek Lower Unit for Aeolian Orchestrelle
By Bob Loesch

I'm the owner of an Orchestrelle that will be 100 years old this July.
Some time in its long and varied history, persons unknown removed the
pumping pedals, and the entire feeder/reservoir unit from the bottom
of the organ, leaving a gaping emptiness which they then filled with
an electric blower.

I would like to ask if anyone out there in reed-organ cyber-land
has any parts which could be used to replace the missing unit?

This instrument is dear to my heart, as its primary leather is
still original, and playing with not one dead note at age nearly 100.
I'd like to restore it to its like-new glory for its birthday, July 2,
1999. On that date in 1899, it was signed off as completed by some
unknown person in the finishing shop, according to the shop tag still
in place behind its front access panel.

Thanks for any help and/or advice you can give.

Regards,

Bob Loesch
