Player Aeolian Grand
By Dick Beery

I am happy to announce that my Aeolian grand player should be arriving
later this week from California. I am looking forward to restoring it
and, at the same time, finishing the music room so that it be displayed
and heard properly. Some of you may also be aware that I am also
working on an 18-rank theater organ which will be the center piece of
the music room; however, my day job will have to lighten up before all
that can be completed.

The main purpose of this posting is two-fold. First, I am in need of
rolls for the player grand. Any information on sources of rolls would
be greatly appreciated.

Secondly, it has been suggested that I build a new spoolbox for it that
would allow 65-note rolls to be played, which are more plentiful, while
saving the original spoolbox so that the instrument could be restored
to its original form with minimum effort. I would appreciate your
comments and suggestions on this idea. Thanks in advance.
