I just received a bit of advice that I think someone might be
interested in.

If you think or might someday think you would have the need of
a Steinway and Sons varnish transfer decal then order one today.
To my knowledge there is only one source for an original varnish
transfer decal.  Contact Larry Ashley, P.O. Box P 20520, Albuquerque,
N.M. 87154, or _fax_ your credit card number ($20.00 min) to
505-232-0252.

He also had Cremona decals (original size color etc.), Mills Violin
decals (original size etc.), new old stock Coinola decals (really nice),
and about any fallboard decal you could ever need.  The Steinway
company has apparently decided to stop the sale of any of their decals.
