Dear Robbie, thank you for the hearty words.  I searched for many years
for a Hupfeld Phonola (console, Vorsetzer) with 88 keys, and until
now I didn't find it.

The Tri-Phonola I bought four years ago in Dresden, and now the work on
it is over.  All the work to make it play excellently (also for playing
Nancarrow and other difficult works) was done by Mr. Joerg Borchardt
from Spahnharrenstaette.

The piano comes from Roenisch. Tri = 3 = (1) Hand-played normal piano,
(2) play with foot-pedals (with Solodant or without Solodant), (3) play
automatic, with an electric vacuum pump.  It is built by Hupfeld around
1926, not earlier.  Inside the body there is a patent from 1926.
