I do not know if the song is the same one, but there was a musical
written for Carol Burnette during the 1960s that had a tune in it
called "My Heart is like a Violin".  The sound of the tune may be like
those of the 20s.

The show was called "Fade Out Fade In", and it was a nostalgia spoof on
classic Hollywood, with Jack Cassidy in the role of the vain male movie
star.  I understand that the show ran only about two weeks until
Burnette got sick.  The backers did not have the money to keep the show
going until she could return so it closed.

So you might have to look for the song in a collection, or an old copy
of the cast record album.  Sadly, I do not have either.  I was a teen
in the orchestra of an amateur production during the early 70s.
