The "Eden Palais" traveled from town to town as an entertainment place,
like for Champagne Rallye, Confettis battle, and so on.  The travel
circuit of the Eden Palais was in the east of France; Mirecourt and
Epinal were very important sites for this enclosed carousel.

The first owner was Bruckman, second owner Demeyer brothers, and
afterward in 1927 Philippe & Frederic Caron, and later the family
Gelis.  The family Gelis has today an entertainment park named
"Nigloland".

Caron changed many things, with paintings from the famous artist
Gallet, and four large stained glass windows were inserted in the
front.  I might add that the Caron family also owned another carousel-
salon, the "Eden Palace", which burned down in Epinal in the 1950s
(1956?).

The "Eden Palais" is located today in the Sanfilippo collection.
