I own a Beckwith, and I'm sure that Pierce is probably wrong and
incomplete for this brand.  The Pierce Atlas says mine was built
in 1909, yet the case style is wrong for that period. I looked at
a reprint of an old Sears catalog for the mid 20s, and the uprights
shown are similar in style to mine.
