Due to a comedy of technical and administrative errors, two different
and incomplete copies of MMDigest 99.10.16 were published.  Many
subscribers received neither of the copies.  The corrected Digest is
being retransmitted this evening.

Those who read the Digest on the MMD Website should go to the page
for the 16th:
      http://mmd.foxtail.com/archives/Digests/199910/1999.10.16.html
and hit "reload".
