Aeolian Vocalion 78 RPM Records
By Kevin McElhone

I have one single-sided and one double-sided Aeolian Vocalion records,
and _both_ play just fine on my Russian "Rigonda" stereo system from
the 1970's. I tape the records rather than wear them out on my old
needle playing portable.

I do not know what your problem can be, but wondered if other members
of MMD have any of these records?

One of the two I have is of the Aeolian pipe organ in Aeolian Hall,
London, unfortunately being hand played rather than from a roll, with
choir accompaniment. Do any more recordings exist of Aeolian pipe
organs in Aeolian Hall, either in London or New York? I would be
interested to know as well: Did they ever record other products,
like Orchestrelle or player piano, as advertising gimmicks?
