[ Re: 991015 MMDigest: CD of Josef Hofmann's Piano Roll Recordings

In a related note, I just found a pair of records (LPs) of piano roll
music while cleaning out a record collection belonging to my aunt, now
retired to an Altzheimer's assisted care facility.  The first (X-905)
was of Josef Hofmann and the second (X-908) was of Alfred Cortot.

According to the cover notes, these albums are part of a series of
recordings on the Everest record label "devoted to music recorded
on the Duo-Art and Ampico player pianos."  The specific music roll
catalog numbers are not listed nor is a copyright date.  Lacking that,
I suspect they are from the 1960s.
