Aeolian Orchestrelle & Grand Organs
By Kevin McElhone

What I am finding interesting, if a little sad, is the thread coming
through of the number of Aeolian Orchestrelle and Grand organs which
have had the player mechanism removed.

I dismantled a model "V" as mentioned which helped finish off 9 or
10 instruments here in the UK and USA which were all missing different
parts. One organ had had the tracker bar cut through very professional
with a saw and was neatly blanked off for hand playing in a church.
I got that one working again, but I now know of a further 8 or 9 organs
missing the tracker bar and spool box assembly.

If anyone can make a new tracker bar and spool box assembly I think
they will be able to sell quite a few to members desperate to get their
instrument working again. Perhaps you would make contact if this is
something you can help with (new or old parts). I have no tracker bars
left, although a friend of mine has one for 116 notes.
