My Wurlitzer 105
By Randy Charles

Hello to all! As some of you may know I am starting to build a Wurlitzer
105 from scratch and Jody has asked me to keep you up on my progress. I
am using plans obtained from R. M. Stanoszek. (Actually they are more
like a set of mechanical drawings with little text information included.)

So far I have managed to build the Melody Flagolets, the Acc. Cello
and almost have the Melody Violins ready for assembly. I haven't voiced
the pipes yet although I have applied some wind to them and all have
sounded.

I have decided to build my own roll frame and tracker bar. And
special thanks go out to William Black and Matthew Caulfield for their
assistance and patience in helping me with answers to questions and
photos!

I have started a Web page with some of my ramblings, thoughts and
progress if any of you would like to look the address is:

OH, almost forgot, I ran across an add for an auction near my home.
There is a player piano for sale. It goes on the block this Saturday
and I wondered what it might be worth? It is listed as a Lyric Upright
Grand player piano w/rolls. Thought I might put in a bid.

Later!
Randy Charles
