Replacing the power switch in this (late model) Marshall & Wendell
Ampico A is easy.  Remove the old toggle and replace with a small wall
switch of the cheapest type, because they will be small.  It requires
recutting the wooden yoke block for a longer switch body.

Trim off the metal mounting plate ends and mount by using two #3 wood
screws at a slight angle into the block.  The plastic toggle handle is
drilled with a hole that will mount a short piece of welding rod,
super-glued in.  That's all there is to it.

As a matter of fact, it's a good idea to replace them every time one is
rebuilt, because those switches are quick to go, once the piano starts
playing again.

These same cheap wall switches (about 69 cents in a Home Depot hardware
store) also work for the early drawer switch, but very difficult to
arrange, mechanically.  The late drawer model A is the easiest one to
substitute.
