Microcontroller Hardware & Software for MIDI
By Mickey Sadler

Hi All. If you are looking for simple, inexpensive hardware and
software for controlling punches, MIDIfying mechanical equipment, etc.
check out http://www.dontronics.com/ and follow the SimmStick links.

The SimmStick is based on the 30-pin single-in-line memory module
(SIMM) and is very inexpensive. Some software is free, some is
shareware. Also look at http://www.simmstick.com/ and rummage around
the links for interesting ideas.

Also try http://websites.ntl.com/~matthew.rowe/micros/ the PIC and
Atmel AVR beginners web site, for good info. Follow the MIDI link
under Projects for info on a small MIDI adapter board and the different
versions available.
