Value of Mason & Hamlin Pump Organ
By Laurie Kimball

-- forwarded message, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hi, I just found your site online and am hoping you can offer some
assistance. I have inherited a Mason & Hamlin pump organ, style 4402
no. 210552, that is known to be at least 100 years old. It has had
a vacuum cleaner attached to the back to power the organ, but still
works by foot pedals as well. It has never been refinished, but needs
only a little tender loving care to be in remarkable condition.

I am interested in more information about this organ and its value, as
well as contacts in Maine for appraisal/repairs or sale. Unfortunately,
I am having to store it in my basement and am afraid of damage that may
be caused by dampness.

I would appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Laurie Kimball
