Indeed, Imron produces a beautiful finish on a well-prepared piano
plate.  However, as I understand it, any mist that is inhaled will
catalyze in your lung tissue and stay there.  Period.

I wouldn't even think of using the product without using an
air-purifying respirator/hood that has fresh air supplied to it by
a pump.  Years ago, I used Imron on two or three piano plates and used
my ordinary respirator, but when I noticed that I could detect the
smell of the paint even with the respirator on, I switched to
conventional lacquer.

Before using any refinishing products, *especially those that are
available only through supply companies for professional use*,
read and understand the manufacturer's safety data sheet.
