Dear Friends,  It is with the deepest regret and sympathy that I send
this message to inform you of Harvey Roehl's passing.  Harvey died at
three o'clock this morning, June 21, 2000.  There will be no calling
hours and no funeral service but a memorial service will be announced
in the local newspaper.

I had seen Harvey on Friday and he was very weak at that time and
mostly bedridden.  Yesterday, Don Sheetz called and said he had just
come from there and Harvey had worsened significantly and was very
jaundiced.  Right to the end Harvey was generally alert and retained
his good memory and sense of humor.

If you can think of anyone to whom to pass this on, please do that
as there are many people who will want to know.  Marion will probably
be checking the email periodically so notes can be sent to

We will all miss him.
