Hi All,  I couldn't help but notice that the editors of the MMD elected
to change the Subject of my posting yesterday to read: "Player-Care
increases QRS Discount Rate".  It had read: "Player-Care increases
Discount Rate."

Just so there is no confusion, QRS does not offer any discounts except
to their many dealers, who buy their rolls at the wholesale rate.
Everyone else pays the full catalog list price when they order directly
from QRS.  Player-Care does not have the authority to change QRS's rates
except as they relate to our own business.  Naturally, a retailer has
the right to charge any price they see fit, even if they sell the item
at a loss.  The only exception to that rule is if there is a contractual
agreement between the wholesaler and the retailer to sell the item at a
specific cost, or within a certain price range.

It seems highly likely to me that the Subject was intentionally changed
so the posting would fit neatly into the Archives under "QRS", but that
is just a guess on my part.  It doesn't seem reasonable that the Subject
was changed to confuse people, but I wanted to be sure everyone
understood exactly what I meant in my previous posting, ergo this
posting.
