Items at Bovey Estate Auction
By Andrew Barrett

Hello all. I just have followed up the link for the auction of the
Bovey estate. They really are selling everything, as evidenced by
the selection of items.

I checked out The section for "Musical," and turned up many musical
instruments, but no pianos and nothing automatic. Then "Antiques,"
still nothing. Finally, I went to "Furniture" as I thought a piano
is big enough to be considered a piece of furniture.

Sure enough, about halfway through I found an interchangeable
cylinder box, with 6 cylinders, up for auction, and on the last page
of "Furniture" items I found several "straight" pianos, as well as
a Seeburg L and rare Seeburg J (with the Capitol Dome Glass!) and,
following up a link to a "Molinari Organ" found that was actually
an Artizan A (sans drums) with a Molinari top and a B.A.B. decal!

All these items are up for bids at the July 27-30 estate auction.

Best,

Andrew Barrett
