Benjamin Haass noted the following in 000802 MMD: 'Silicon Valley refers
to the San Jose, California, area.  There is no place I know of called
"Silicone Valley"'.

I believe that in the late 1960's and early 70's, while Carol Doda
and other girls were performing, Commercial Avenue in San Francisco
was dubbed "Silicone Valley."
