Video Camera Helps Player Reassembly
By Larry Mayo

Go one step further recording your rebuild [with a digital camera].
Use a video camera. Set up a good light on your work area, set up
a video camera on a tripod, and focus it on your work project.

I found that actually seeing the article come apart is often better
than still pictures which leave out some very important details. You
can add all the running comments you want, such as, "I'm pulling three
spacer punchings out of here. The large one goes on top, and the other
two go beneath it."

For some tricky disassembly there is just no substitute. Plus, you
can lend the videotape to others who can avoid all the pitfalls you did
by recording your work.

I'm amazed at how much can be forgotten in just a few days. This really
works.
