Narrow QRS Roll with Square Drive Hole
By Jeff Lofton

Hi Folks, I have just completed my Schulz upright pneumatic rebuild
(whew). I was going through all the rolls sorting the good from the
warped or boring when I found one roll that is not like the others.
It is slightly wider than an Angelus Orchestrion roll and much narrower
than an 88-note roll.

The dimensions are 11-3/8" wide overall, paper width is 10-5/16".
The left hand side has a 5/32" female round hole with a square 5/32"
female drive on the right. This is QRS roll #1173, Tschaikowski Op. 64
No. 5 Andante Cantabile. This roll is stamped Circulating Library,
Kieselhorst Piano Co., St. Louis. The roll is in near perfect shape.
My mother thought she had once picked up a Wurlitzer band organ roll,
but don't think this is it because of the title.

This roll is free to a good home (private U.S. collector only), I'll
pay for the mail! You must prove to me you have a working machine
that plays this roll though, and promise not to sell it.

Thanks,
Jeff Lofton
