Junghans-Symphonion Clock Case Repair
By Lelland Fletcher

Alan Fox needs the four brass leaf ornaments on the lid of the musical
clock. I have only two of the four on my clock and made an impression
of one and made patterns for the other two and had my dental laboratory
technician cast them in non-precious alloy. Any dental laboratory
would be familiar with the alloy and it is easier for them to work with
than brass, or at least they are familiar with it's properties. If you
have contact with a technician he could cast and finish them. Perhaps
I could furnish one pattern and he could cast it and then make patterns
for the others.

It is time consuming to make the original mold if you want it to be
perfect and I take shortcuts, but the pattern is very close to the
original. Good luck.
