Seek Wurlitzer 165 Photo for New Book
By Matthew Caulfield

Mr. Helmut Brenner, of the Universitaet fuer Musik und Darstellende
Kunst, Graz, Austria, is publishing a biography/bibliography/
discography/rollography of the Mexican composer Juventino Rosas, whose
best-known work may be the waltz "Sobre las Olas" ("Over The Waves").
Roas also wrote "Ensueno Seductor" ("Impassioned Dream") and other
pieces.

Mr. Brenner has asked me for a good, publishable photograph of a
Wurlitzer Style 165 band organ. I thought I could easily oblige him,
but it turns out all our photographs are packed away somewhere, where
we can't find them now.

Does any MMD'er have a nice photograph of a Wurlitzer 165 band organ
(such as the Malone or Gilson or Openshaw instrument) that he would be
willing to mail to Mr. Brenner? If so, I'll give you his address.
I asked him whether a JPEG image would do, but he doesn't think it
would reproduce as well as a color photo print would.
