To all MMD readers:  I agree with John Tuttle about the clear need
to initiate a "delivery fee" for the MMD.  I can find no reasonable
argument that my own participation in the Digest should continue
without my making some small annual financial commitment to offset
MMD's expenses.  If anyone can mount such an argument, I'd like to
hear it.

That said, I think the quickest way to achieve broad support from those
of us who read this "sheet" regularly enough to make such a commitment
is to set up an online VISA/MasterCard subscription form.  That way we
don't have to figure out where to send that first check, and we'd also
get a friendly automatic reminder from MMD when our renewal is due.
(In fact, I can't remember now if it's been a year or more since I last
made a contribution.)

Any reason we can't go that route, Robbie?
