Seek Identification of Rollframe Part
By Julie Porter

Thanks to the MMD I recently acquired a number of band organ parts in
Pennsylvania from the estate of the well-known collector, Mike Kitner.
Most of the piano and orchestrion parts are now in storage. While
waiting for the larger band organ spare parts to arrive home I did
bring a few of the more interesting rollframe parts back with me.

Of the castings I am able to identify all but the part in the last
picture using the Vestal Press reprint PPCo sells as item B-36.
I asked both Matthew Caulfield and Bill Black to identify the part
in the attached photo. Matthew suggested I ask the MMD.

At present I am still sorting through the stuff. There were two attics
of material I had to remove. From time to time I may ask for help
identifying stuff. When I have a better idea of what I do not want
I will be open to tendered offers on the non-band-organ items. As I am
2600 miles away I can not get to much of the stuff until this spring at
the earliest.

I would like to see about attending some band organ rallies in the US;
the MMD calendar does not seem to be up to date. I am involved with
a show near Santa Barbara CA most of July and August. I am planning to
be at the MBSI in Baltimore as well, so I foresee a busy summer and
need to start planning now any east coast trips before August.
