Hi All,  First, a big "Thank You" to everyone who responded to my
request earlier this week.  As of today (03/30/01), 84 people have
written to say that they saw my posting.  I am pleasantly surprised
to know that a relatively significant number of people take the extra
steps necessary to read the Digest even when it isn't "delivered to
the doorstep".

Although I had not expected much more than a simple "Yes, I saw your
posting", almost everyone who wrote had some question or comment about
the current state of affairs at the MMD.

As best as I could, and with the limited knowledge I do have, I tried
to assure everyone that (a) no one has been removed from the mailing
list, (b) the current situation is temporary, and (c) that I too hope
that email delivery of the Digest will resume soon.  Thanks again to
all who responded.
