I have just received a supply of stock #1117 from Player Piano Co.
They are valve facings for a standard single valve action, described
as suitable for the vacuum side.

To my surprise they have a shiny plastic film attached, so making
sense of the catalog instruction 'Shiny side to seat'.  As this is my
first time with these I wondered what the expert opinion of them is.
Any comments, please?
