Adding Xylophone to Player Piano
By Ray Finch

I am rebuilding a player that was once converted to be a nickelodeon.
Since there is not enough of the original player to convert it back
to a regular player so I have decided to redo it as a nickelodeon. It
uses the "A" style rolls. I would like to add a xylophone as an extra
instrument.

Some questions:

1. At what note on the tracker bar does the extra instrument start at
(or map to note to note)?

2. Generally how many notes does an extra instrument (like a xylophone)
have? I have heard that it is 24 but I would like to get some extra
information on that before I get too deep into this project.

3. Anyone know where I could get a xylophone on the net that would work
for this project?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Ray Finch
