Piano Movers: John Wrasse
By Rob Case

About a year ago, I purchased a Weber Duo-Art in Pennsylvania. As
I live in Wisconsin, I needed to get it home as quickly and efficiently
as possible. After exploring the option of renting a Ryder truck or
U-Haul, it became apparent that the cost would be overwhelming.

Following a thread on MMD, I found the number for John Wrasse,
professional piano mover. After I contacted him, he said he would
be able to deliver the piano in about two weeks. John basically runs
a one-man business with an enclosed van, and makes frequent trips all
over the US. His wife handles the business arrangements. They are
both easy to deal with, and he moves automatic instruments almost
exclusively. I highly recommend him to anyone. He is fast,
professional, efficient, and most importantly knows what he is dealing
with concerning valuable instruments. His cost for moving is very
reasonable, too.

One of the best things about John is that he is also a collector, so he
is knowledgeable about what he is handling. There are no horror stories
here! Contact John Wrasse at 630-542-4298 or 319-872-3495.
