Piano Music in the Old West Saloons
By Todd Robbins

Dave Bourne, one of the founders of the Maple Leaf Club in Los Angeles,
recorded a CD called "Saloon Piano". Dave has an amazingly vast
repertoire and for this recording he played music from about 1850 to
1910, with the majority being from the earlier part of that period.
It's a wonderful CD and just the thing that was asked about on the
last MMDigest. I think the only way to get a copy is to visit Dave
on Thursday nights at Casey's Bar & Grill in downtown Los Angeles.
Email me at <ConeyIslandTodd@aol.com> if you would like to contact
him at his email address.
