Seek Pianola Restorer in Europe
By Dean Randall

I received an e-mail inquiry from a fellow in Belgium a few hours ago,
asking for assistance in locating a restorer for his Farrand-Cecilian
push-up piano player in Europe. He mentions that Belgium, France,
Holland, Germany or the U.K. would all be accessible to him. From what
I can tell from the pictures, I believe that this piano player has a
wood action, rather than the all metal "teakettle" action.

Since I have no direct personal knowledge of European restorers who
could and would do this sort of restoration, and since MMD has a good
number of European subscribers, it occurred to me that this would be
the very best place to ask. Can anyone suggest a restorer?

Thanks,

Dean Randall - on frosty Puget Sound, Washington
