You are, of course, quite correct.  Yes, I was aware of the solvents
present in '3-in 1' oil, but as Robbie quite correctly stated, those
cheap music boxes are easily and inexpensively replaced.  It is
gratifying, though, to find someone who appreciates even the
inexpensive music boxes enough to afford them the best of care,
