Okay, I already have my bullet proof vest on for the reactions to this
post, so here goes.

I have an upright Duo-Art in a nice oak case.  As soon as I'm finished
with the restoration I plan to build a roll storage cabinet to sit on
top of the case.  The plan is to make it look like an original extended
case.  With the proper modifications to the lid, especially supporting
the front middle section, I see nothing at all wrong with this.

Space is a premium at my place and the top of the piano makes perfect
sense for storing something piano related.  If I don't use the space
Anne will.  :-)
