Converting Orchestrelle to Play 88-Note Rolls
By Bruce Clark

The question was _not_ "can it be done," but a request for advice
and opinions on the possibility of converting an Orchestrelle to play
88-note rolls. I firmly agree with Berley Firmin and Kim Bunker.
Three cheers for you guys!

88-note piano rolls converted to play organ music will only serve
to satisfy the "musically illiterate".  If they enjoy it, let them;
I don't want to be around to hear it! I think I would rather hear
88-note player bag-pipes. Can that be done?

Bruce Clark

 [ A player bagpipe (playing Play-A-Sax music rolls) was reported
 [ near the border of Ireland and Scotland. When asked if it could
 [ play 88-note music, the piper hurled a Celtic oath and vanished
 [ into the mist!  ;->  -- Robbie
