Hi All,  A Happy New Year from cold and snowy north Lower Michigan.

I must agree with John Tuttle and others: I believe to restore
something is to make it as new again.  Just my two cents.

I am new enough that I don't have the experience others do, but
I have seen some restorations done to "as new" condition.  But --
to each their own !
