Regarding Julie Porter's posting about Audio-to-MIDI Conversion,
in 020828 MMDigest.  A Usenet URL is specified as news:group so that
alt.music.midi would be news:alt.music.midi instead of using slashes
as in Julie's message.

Alt.music.midi in wide distribution seems to date from around 1994.
It's hard to tell with groups in the alt hierarchy.  On the other hand,
comp.music.midi was created late in 1995 when comp.music was
re-organized.   Just a bit of trivia.
