Re-releasing Gay 90s Village Recordings
By Brian Smith

Hi MMDers, As everyone read in MMD 021128, Chris Carlisle might be
releasing newfound material of Paul Eakins Seeburg H recordings.

I would encourage everyone to chip in. I believe this is the best
sounding H that was ever recorded. There are some beautiful Seeburg
H's out there, but the Eakins' instrument seemed to have that extra
'something'. The pipes are beautifully voiced and everything sounded
like the 'ideal' H right down to the castanets. Of course popular
tunes are the best, but if you haven't heard a march on this machine,
then you haven't heard a march! It's exciting to hear of new material
that was never put out on LP. Of course the Eakins had many other
incredible instruments that were also recorded.

Lets all support Chris in his efforts to bring these analog recordings
to CD!

Cheers,

Brian Smith
