I think there is a need for quality replacement Ampico roll boxes,
especially the top-hat false bottom type.  At one time someone out
there made replicas, and they were better than the originals, but they
had one drawback: they were slightly larger than the original boxes and
therefore would not fit properly into original Ampico roll cabinets.

If someone takes on this project, I think there will be a market for
them as a great number of original and newer thin boxes are beginning
to show signs of age and deterioration.
