Repairing Organ Pipes
By Bob Oppenheim

Greetings to all! I would like to say 'Thank You' to all who have
taken time to reply to my questions regarding use of whiting and gum
arabic as a stop for soldering organ pipes. Organ Supply Industries
is a source of these, as well as stearine candles. They also provide
a recipe for the whiting and the gum arabic. I have requested and
received permission from OSI to post the recipe on the MMD. [See the
recipe elsewhere in this MMDigest. -- Robbie]

I have received supplies of these items from OSI and if there is any
interest I will pass along any further experience using them. Again,
I would like to thank all for pointing me in the right direction.
